About Me
Hi! My name is Natalia and I'm 30 years old. I was born and raised in Brazil in a city named Cotia, close to the big city of São Paulo. I had a pretty awesome childhood, spending most of my time playing outside with my friends or playing with my big brother at home. I've always enjoyed spending time outside.
After I graduated high school, I went to college in the big city and started working there as well, but soon realized the city life wasn't for me. Before working in the city, and also on my vacations from the office work, I used to work as a camp counselor. That was my real passion! The camp was in the Atlantic Forest, and I learned a lot about the "life in the woods" as our boss use to say. Right after I finished college, I decided to save money and go to an exchange program abroad. I was ready to see the world.
I went to the United States to work as an AuPair in 2016, and had an awesome time. I gained good friends and also traveled a lot during the program, being able to visit 19 states in 2 years. During my second year in the US, I met my best friend and soulmate Tennis. We've been married for 5 years now. We are both passionate about travel, health and wildlife. In our free time we are usually hiking or snorkeling/diving.
In the past few years, we've learned how to be more sustainable and how to live a healthier life. I've practice yoga regularly for a couple of years now and we have reduced our waste in our home in over 50%.
This year, 2023, we're traveling to the see the other side of the world. We volunteered in a coral reef conservation program in June and now we are on a Work and Holiday visa in Australia, the land down under.
This blog will focus on ways to be more sustainable at home or while traveling, and also on yoga and how to improve physical and mental health.
I hope you guys enjoy it!
